Only You Have a Say

I’ve said it thousands of times, “I am the only person who has a say in how my life turns out!” Yet, there are days that I’m left scratching my head in bewilderment. The fishing I had planned… it isn’t happening. The grass I had planned to be mowing by now… it’s covered by snow. The world and all its upsets… it doesn’t look the way I think it should.Clearly, there are many things that we can’t control, but what we CAN control is our reactions to the world around us. I choose whether or not to embrace these late Spring snows. I choose to be happy or not in an increasingly negative world. You can too! Choose to BE who you say you are no matter what the world throws at you.Just a thought.Clay S. Nelson
